CISCO Networking Academy: The CISCO Networking Academy offers students (grades 9+) and adults the opportunity to gain foundational and advanced knowledge in networking, cybersecurity, and IT skills. Open to grades 9 through adult, participants learn through hands-on labs, interactive lessons, and real-world projects that prepare them for industry certifications and future careers in technology.

Adult Gaming: Join our weekly Tuesday evening gaming sessions for adults! This is a chance to relax, have fun, and connect with others who love games. Play, laugh, and make new friends in a welcoming, social environment.

Culinary Collective (Adult Cooking Class): This adult cooking series explores specialty cooking techniques while highlighting nutrition and wellness for a healthier lifestyle. Participants learn to prepare delicious, nutritious meals, discover tips for balanced eating, and gain practical skills to bring healthy-inspired living into their daily routines. 

Basic Sewing for Adults: Learn the fundamentals of sewing in these hands-on classes designed for adults. Participants will explore basic stitches, techniques, and project construction, gaining confidence and practical skills to create their own simple sewing projects.

Adult Makerspace: This adults-only series invites participants to explore and create their own projects with guidance and inspiration. Learn how to use a variety of tools and techniques, gaining the skills and confidence to make independent projects in the future.

Glowforge Basics: This adults-only class is your ticket to mastering the Glowforge laser cutter! Learn the essential skills to safely create amazing projects, and get ready to unlock future Glowforge classes where your creativity can really shine. Take your Glowforge skills to the next level in this adults-only advanced class! Building on the Glowforge Basics, participants explore creative design, advanced techniques, and project customization, turning ideas into unique, professional-quality creations.

Glowforge Art & Design Series (Must complete Glowforge Basics class first):

Senior Planet Classes: In partnership with AARP’s Senior Planet program, these classes help older adults build confidence and independence with everyday technology. Participants will explore a variety of skills, including using cell phones, computers, email, social media, and even digital photography. Classes are held twice a week, with an additional weekly tech support hour available for personalized assistance. Whether you’re looking to stay connected with family, explore online tools, or pick up a new digital hobby, this program offers practical, hands-on learning in a supportive environment.

Senior Tech Hour Support: Have questions about your cell phone, computer, or tablet? Bring them to Senior Tech Hour! Our friendly staff will be on hand to provide one-on-one help and walk you through the basics so you can feel more confident using your technology.

Cooking with Cultures: In partnership with McLennan County AgriLife, Cooking with Cultures is a hands-on program for ages 55+. Participants explore a new part of the world through an immersive lab experience and then try cooking a special recipe from that region, blending learning, creativity, and delicious food.

Wisdom & Wonder: Wisdom and Wonder is a science program designed for adults 55 and older. Each session combines an engaging short lecture with a hands-on activity, sparking curiosity and activating learning. The program not only fosters lifelong learning but also creates meaningful opportunities for participants to connect and build community with one another. Wisdom and Wonder will meet twice a month on Wednesdays from 1-3 pm.
